How Can This Number Make You More Attractive (Even Sexier)?

According to research done by Drs Steven Platek and Devendra Singh at Georgia Gwinnett College and the University of Texas at Austin respectively, women who have a waist-to-hip ratio (WHR) of 7/10 are viewed as more physically attractive by men universally across all cultures throughout history. This means the waist measurements are 70% of the hip measurement. For example, if your measurement around your waist is 24 inches, your measurement around your hips would be 34 inches for maximum “attractiveness” according to the study. According to the research: “…an hourglass figure (i.e., an optimal WHR of .7) activates brain centers in men that drive sociality/attention toward females that represent the highest-quality reproductive partners. This is the first description of a neural correlate implicating WHR as a putative honest biological signal of female reproductive viability and its effects on men’s neurological processing.” In short according to their research, men seem to be preprogrammed neurologically to equate “female outward physical beauty” at least subconsciously to an “hour glass figure” indicating a women’s potential for procreation. (i.e. having a baby). What’s interesting is this is not just superficial, the research goes on to show a positive correlation between women who have this 7/10 WHR and their levels of the reproductive hormones estradiol and progesterone, higher likelihood of conception, and availability of neurodevelopmental resources for their offspring. The research also shows that women who have this WHR also have lower likelihood of illnesses such as heart disease and various cancers. Another finding of the research showed surprisingly that body fat was irrelevant provided the 7/10 WHR was maintained. So being ripped or toned for this “carnal attractiveness” seems to be less important.
It’s Been True For Thousands Of Years…Just As It Is Today
Purportedly, Dr. Devendra has done further research to demonstrate that historically, even for thousands of years, this 7/10 ratio has shown up in both ancient sculptures and art work across both Europe and Asia and continues to show up today with many contemporary actresses, performers and models like Marilyn Monroe, Kate Winslet, Mariah Carey and Salma Hayek…all known for their desirable physical beauty.
Okay men, what about you??? Well obviously you don’t want an hour-glass figure, but “7” does work on your side, too. Similar, independent research done by Professors Susan M. Hughes and Gordon G. Gallup Jr. at the Department of Psychology, State University of New York at Albany shows that according to women the most handsome men have a 7/10 waist-to-shoulder ratio (WSR). Meaning that men’s physical attractiveness in part is attributed to their waist measurement being 70% of their shoulder measurement (notice the importance around the shoulders not chest). [ii]The research suggested that men had also 3 characteristics that needed to be considered holistically as a package when considering overall attractiveness. There’s a relationship between the WSR (the first characteristic) and the perceived facial attractiveness (the second characteristic). The greater the WSR approaches 7/10 the greater the perceived facial attractiveness. This combined with a firm handshake (the third characteristic) all mixes into whether or not a man is “perceived” by women as handsome according to the study. Similarly, Hughes and Gallup found that the reasoning behind this was the “natural” pre-programmed neurological response that women have when looking for a mate that has “strong” genetic potential for procreating.
Whether you are male or female, interested in procreating or not, virtually every person on the planet wants to look and feel their very best…
The great news for women, if you are not a natural 7/10 only an estimated 8.4% are. In our next article you will discover a fast, fun and easy SUPER EXERCISE that you can do 3 times a week along with a supplementation regimen of high quality whey protein that can quickly help slim your waist down to the “key” 7/10 waist-to-hip ratio (WHR) – since your hip bone structure is genetically unchangeable.
The great news for men, you will also discover in our next article a fast, fun and easy exercise you can do 3 times a week (interestingly the same SUPER EXERCISE as for women) and with a little high quality whey protein to build broad shoulders while slimming your mid section to help you also reach your “key” 7/10 waist-to-shoulder ratio (WSR).
Getting Your “7” On Can Be Fast, Fun And Easy!
Until our next article that will contain the secret SUPER EXERCISE and protocol “key” to unlock your 7/10 ratio, reflect on these words of wisdom from one of the most famous and beautiful natural 7/10 WHR women…
“True beauty is how you feel inside, and it reflects in your eyes. It is not something physical.”
– Sophia Loren
“We agree with Sophia Loren’s quote above. We also believe there’s nothing wrong with maximizing our created outward physical potential as long as we don’t become overly obsessed and miss showing our God–given inner beauty, which is so much more important! Our bodies should be respected and taken care of as a temple and not worshiped as an idol!”
